Yet another David Bowie greatest hits album
that now replaces the now out of print Changesbowie from
a decade ago, with a few more extra songs. For all those who
just essentially want the popular songs and nothing more, help
yourself: "Ziggy Stardust," "Space Oddity,"
"Fashion," "Fame," "Let's Dance,"
"Modern Love," "Heroes," etc. Best of also
includes the classic collaboration with Queen on "Under
Pressure," as well as a minor surprise inclusion of "This
is Not America," a 1985 duet with guitarist Pat Metheny.
Not much room is given to the most recent tracks including from
Heathen, so for those who want more than this sampling should
go for the double CD version with key album tracks like "DJ,"
"Sound and Vision," "Boys Keep Swinging,"
"Starman," etc. Still this single disc collection offers
a diverse set of tunes that are as chameleonic as the Thin White
Duke himself.
