From the New York Times...

The music of twin sisters Natalie and Nicole Albino (from my 'hood of Queens, NY) draw from a variety of sources: soul, hip-hop, dance, jazz, and funk. It's this amalgam of different styles in the r&b vein that makes their debut album very pleasing. The two women possess strong harmonc, unified voicesn that echoes the honeyed gospel like singing of contemporary stars Alicia Keys and Mary J. Blige. The record balances between uptempo, beat-oriented tracks like "Move Ya Body," "Holla Back," and "Turnin' Me On," with thoughtful jazzy soul fare like "You Deserve" (featuring Betty Wright) and the retro-sounding "Your Time." The sisters don't strike one as drama queens nor delivering fluff, as the lyrics (which they had a hand in writing) seem thoughtful and honest. Nina Sky has something to offer for both old school folks and hip-hop heads.
